Activity garden placemaking for a community hospital.

Elements of Action worked with a number of client partners in this project, including St Johns Community Hospital, Wexford County Council (Culture & Creativity Team + Age Friendly Program) Health Service Executive (HSE) and Creative Ireland and the Irish Architecture Foundation.

A creative green outdoor area that encourages the staff, service users and general public to both, engage and relax in the park.

We used our approach of meaningful engagement to build openness and involve a diverse population of staff; patients and locals in a co-designing placemaking initiative for the grounds of St John’s Community Hospital.

Our studio created a master plan layout for elements and features, a guide on budget, and phased delivery proposal.
